 The Writer Speaks


This session is used to introduce the first draft of the class writer's script. Students work together to contribute to the development of the script's final draft.  

Session 14

Introduction To Production Management


This session is used to introduce students to documents needed to organize their production.  Students determine film locations, lighting schemes, and all tasks required to meet the film deadline.  

Session 15-16

The Director Speaks


This session is used to introduce students to dry-run rehearsals, the art of diplomacy, and camera-blocking exercises required in preparation for production. 

Session 17-18

Production


This session is used to film the final class film project.  Students learn how to use shot lists, storyboards, director's cues, and all tasks required to gather film footage needed. 

Session 19-20

Post Production


This session is used to introduce students to the art of editing and 21st-century editing equipment and software. 

Public Film Screening


This session is used to introduce students to exhibiting and mounting a public film screening of their work, media law, public policy, and public television access.
